Our Story

qHow it startedr

It was approx 2007 when I saw Daniel for the first time at a youth dance of the church.
This is the only picture we have from back then. 

I saw him once in a while at church activities and I thought he was a very fun kid and attractive, but because I barely came from Mexico , I didn't know how to flirt nor even try to talk to him.

Time Flew by and he served a 2 year mission while I remained home and learning as much as possible from life.

 Demeber 2013. I saw him again after his mission. We catch up a bit in the hallways about his mission  and work but that was it because he was dating someone.

January 2013. It was at a single adult activity where I saw him coming in alone (he was single now). We started to talk again, it was always so nice to talk to him he seemed very chill and trustworthy. There was some drama going on with my friends and I and Daniel  could tell that something was wrong with me so he asked me to go to Olive Garden and come back after the activity was over.
It was a lovely evening where I straight up suggested "Hey we should get married" my reasons were:
He was white 
My mom had always wanted me to marry an American to "improve the race" 
so it was perfect! 
Anyways, we ate and talked for a long time and we started to feel comfortable with each other pretty fast.

Febrero 17 2013.  Was the day where I said "YOLO lets do it" to his question to start dating. It took me a while to finally say yes because I wanted to remain single and I wanted to make sure that the next guy I date was serious about marriage, but there was just something about him that I couldn't resist.

It was all dandy in our relationship , day by day Daniel surprised me with many reasons on why he was the one for me and I fell more in love with him.
A month later after we started dating he asked for my hand in marriage to my dad. My dad only speaks spanish so Daniel researched and learned how to ask for my hand and when he asked my dad he said " could I get tired with your daughter" 
He forgot to say it right and it was super funny. 

Abril 3 2013. Daniel and I went to San Francisco because Daniel bought tickets for the Lyndsey Stirling concert.

It was a wonderful day in San Francisco, we went to many of my favorite places before the concert.

The concert was just amazing and we both had so much fun but the day didn't just ended there. 

We were walking to the car and Daniel said "hey we haven't taken pictures lately, chose a place to take a picture  while I ask someone to take a picture of us"

We were in a train car round about and the lighting was just perfect.

The man just started to shoot pictures right after the other

Daniel hold me and I was just super happy because all I was thinking "oh these pictures going to turn out so great"

He started to tell them how happy was to have me and before I knew it he was in one knee and POPPED THE QUESTION!

I was in complete shock the whole time

It was just perfect and the best thing that ever happened to me.

That was how we met, how we fell for each other and how I said "YES"
